In-house Worship Service Guidelines (updated 6-16-20)

Here is what we are committing to do in order to keep your family safe while they participate in an In-house Worship Service at Woodcrest UMC:

If you are feeling less than 100%, or are unsure for your families’ health, please stay home.  We will continue to provide online live-stream of our entire worship service(s).

If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask and/or gloves, feel free to do so.  We will respect the decisions of others.

We will not be taking temperatures or asking the three screening questions.

Please enter and exit using the doors by the fountain and the portico doors (leading to the Choir Room).  There will be Ushers there to assist you.

We are committed to being intentional about providing a clean, sanitary and safe environment.

We will sanitize before you arrive and after the worship experience……pews, doors, door knobs, removal of paper/pencils/pens, etc.

Sanitizing stations will be provided at each entrance and the bathrooms.

Pews will be portioned off (every other pew) to provide proper social distancing – please sit with your family and leave at least 3 spaces between you and the next family.

Offering envelopes will be placed in seating areas in advance.  An offering drop box will be placed at back of sanctuary instead of the passing of offering plates.

Be considerate when greeting - Consider smiling/waving instead of handshaking/hugging others who are not ready for that yet.  Think Golden Rule.

Worship Services and Other On-Campus Activities – Please note this will change on an as needed basis.

Initially, there will be two options Sunday Worship Service

9:30 am In-house Worship Service (Live-Stream also available online)
